We are not a foundation and do not provide funding or scholarships to individuals for higher education. We suggest you investigate the following sources for funding.
The financial aid office of your local two-year community college.
The Foundation Center has some listings for individuals. Donna Milgram, the Executive Director, received funding for her graduate education by applying for a grant she found in their individual scholarship files. The Foundation Center is online at http:// www.foundationcenter.org.
We appreciate your interest in our workshops and wish we had the resources to provide financial assistance. However, we receive no grant funding for our workshops, and are not able to provide scholarships.
We are a nonprofit organization not a foundation, and our organization does not offer funding or grants. The Foundation Center is a great place to research grants, and has field offices in several cities. It is also available online at http://www.foundationcenter.org.

Thank you for your interest in employment opportunities at IWITTS. Due to the small size of our organization, and the large number of applicants we receive for positions, we cannot always follow up with each applicant. We suggest you send a read receipt with your resume.
Our expertise is in assisting institutions, not individuals, in recruiting and retaining women in technology and law enforcement fields. We aren't a membership organization. We recommend you connect with a membership organization for assistance on the individual level. See our WomenTechWorld.org career links at http://www.womentechworld.org/links.htm for a list of these.
IWITTS works with employers and schools, not individuals, to prevent discrimination. You may want to try the 9 to 5 National Association of Working Women (http://www.9to5.org). They have an effective sexual harassment assistance center.
IWITTS mission is to provide training, e-strategies, publications and technical assistance nationally to the education system and employers to integrate women into technology and law enforcement careers in which they are underrepresented. Careers range from automotive technician to pilot, computer networking technician, telecommunications engineer, electrician and law enforcement officer, to name just a few.
To accomplish its mission, IWITTS uses the following strategies to assist its clients and partners:
Trainings and technical assistance for educators, law enforcement agencies and employers (both in person and online)
Multimedia resource publications for educators and employers
Web site development, online community building, online training and other technical solutions

Other resources for recruiting women into policing include:
To recruit and hire women candidates into policing, you can place an ad on our E-jobs website, http://www.womentechstore.com/empad028.html. We have a special law enforcement section and you can include a photo of women in your department. The site also has information how to post an ad, our rate sheet, and our E-job ad features.
We hope these resources help you with recruiting women into law enforcement.
