2. What do you feel was BEST about this workshop?
- Knowledge of presenter and preparation involved (notebook full of info!).
- Sharing of ideas, strategies.
- PowerPoint - stopping for discussion.
- Discussion about vignettes. Training Manual.
- The openness to interaction of the whole group, able to add productive comments at will.
- Training Manual - can take back to review.
- Awareness of recruiting techniques. Good background info.
- There were so many concrete suggestions and examples given. Very helpful!
- Discussion from group of possibilities.
- The chance to interact and share information.
- Very diverse group of people - counselors, PDE, instructors on secondary
level and post secondary level.
- Seeing the statistics and hearing from others what they are already
doing to increase female interest. Also the videos.
- Allow everyone to input their expert opinion and knowledge throughout the presentation.
- Very well organized.
- The materials. Knowledgeable guests.
- Recruitment vignettes were excellent - discussions were good to get
others input and feedback.
- Topic!
- Interaction with Participants and Karen.
3. What do you feel would IMPROVE the workshop?
- More hands-on in last hour.
- More time!
- Actual examples of activities.
- Current statistic - some quoted statistics were from 1992.
- Statistics seemed old.
- Faster pace.

3. What do you feel was BEST about this workshop?
- Retention, 2nd activity.
- Thoroughness of multiple aspects involved when addressing the topic.
- Excellent presentation with audience engage discussion.
- Case studies for recruitment.
- Discussions. Presenter was very attentive to group's needs and comments.
- Interactions/groups/networking.
- Being able to brainstorm with the case studies.
- Presenter did a great job.
- I feel that the annotated bibliography is very useful and helpful.
- Interesting to look at recruitment, retention and placement.
- Sharing ideas.
- The ability for the participants to interact with each other and Karen.
4. What do you feel would IMPROVE this workshop?
- The PowerPoint presentation and the handouts did not match up exactly,
as there was some flipping around. Just try to coincide them more.
- A little slow. Would have been better to have developed a plan. Identify
resources, programs to Tech-Prep, high wage/high priority - to develop an action plan we would have.
- Needs to be less time (possibly only a full day.)
- Update materials!
