- Provoking/engaging conversation, thoughts and solutions focused for preparing/retaining women for non-traditional education/employment options

- Lots of resources
- The connections made and the information between different people and organizations

- Bringing the issues surrounding female students in engineering

3. What do you feel would IMPROVE the workshop?
- More time (x2)
- Add more to non-traditional aspects relating to men
- More info about research presented on slides
- A little less wasted time (though the off-topic conversations were useful too)
- More exploration of our own hidden biases
- The opportunity to review some literature, or some type of generic questionnaire to get participants in the thinking of retention/recruitment of women
- Vignettes: more of them on a wider variety of tech disciplines (EGR)
- If time, follow a success story (from another institute?)
- Some research is old or sample is too small
- Updated data
- More case studies
- There is a lot of repetition in the presentation, esp. in retention. Too many examples that say the same thing
- More hands-on activities
- Critiquing real life situations rather than make-believe in the video
- Put dividers in notebook or use different color papers

- Thank you for sharing your time/expertise
- Very informative and insightful
- I think I learned that there is no magic bullet but it's a mindset. I like the idea of staying in touch by e-mail to make sure I don't forget! Would people do a follow-up workshop in 1 year?
