The Promotions tool provides a framework for evaluating the promotions and special assignment processes for ensuring fairness. The tool assists departments in identifying the reasons why women aren't being promoted up the ranks.
This tool will help Chiefs answer the questions:
· ``Are women in our Department moving up the ranks and into special assignments?" If not, why not?
· ``What other career development strategies could we use to ensure women are represented in all ranks and assignments throughout the department?
