This Recruitment & Selection tool walks departments through a comparison of their current recruitment methods with proactive strategies to identify women and minority candidates. Our easy to use tables assist Departments in setting benchmarks for short and long-term recruitment strategies.

This tool will help Chiefs answer the questions:

· ``Is our Department proactively recruiting women candidates?"
· ``What additional strategies could we use to recruit female candidates?
· ``Are female candidates being disproportionately screened out of our Department's
     selection process, and if so, at what stage(s)?"
